We think you'll feel as great as we do about using fabulous products that help you repurify life each day. And rest assured this is no ordinary store – as a part of the Repurify community, 5% of our profits from your purchase will be contributed to the Alliance for Pure Products. At checkout, you'll be invited to choose the partner organization below to which you'd most like to contribute:
SkinDeep Cosmetic Safety Database by the Environmental Working Group
The mission of the non-profit Environmental Working Group is to use the power of information to protect human health and the environment. We couldn't have said it better ourselves… Assembled and administered by the EWG, the SkinDeep Cosmetic Safety Database provides objective safety ratings for nearly a quarter of all products on the market — 52,470 products with 8,831 ingredients and counting.
Your contribution will provide meaningful funding to support the continued development of this valuable database, and support the EWG's efforts lobbying for more scrutiny and accountability over the ingredients used to make products Americans use each day.
The American Cancer Society
As their website clearly states, "The American Cancer Society takes seriously its role as a provider of trusted, credible information on issues related to cancer. Such information is essential for individuals and regulatory agencies to make informed decisions about the safety of consumer products. More information is needed on the extent to which the ingredients in cosmetics are absorbed and retained in the body during normal usage, especially in groups such as in infants and pregnant mothers."
"Furthermore, the American Cancer Society supports the need for open and transparent regulatory oversight of cosmetics and encourages continued and expanded scientific research of the potential links between cosmetic use and cancer risk." Your contribution supports this advocacy, along with rigorous research to stop cancer in its tracks.
The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics
Your contribution supports The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics in its coalition effort with the mission of "protecting the health of consumers and workers by securing the corporate, regulatory and legislative reforms necessary to eliminate dangerous chemicals from cosmetics and personal care products." The Campaign includes more than 100 endorsing organizations, thousands of grassroots supporters and over 1,300 companies that have signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics, including Repurify.
